23.56h PDT - Tosj | The day after, the cube is still there, it was not a dream. People are swarming to our website via the link on WWDC 2004 ADA. We are generating more hits than we ever did with one of our software releases. Most people don't stay really long, but it is nice to see that so many people are interested in the Design Awards. During lunch we meet Peter Schols again, he says there will also be posters on the second level with information about the design awards. After lunch we check and the same information that was projected yesterday during the awards show is now printed neatly on hard board posters.
The first session of today is about taking advantage of New WebKit features and more ideas about implementations are formed in our heads. We think the Keynote might be a little bit disappointing for the normal home user of Macs, as there is no immediate new hardware available and the Tiger is unleashed in the first half of next year. But what in the end WILL be great is that the developers here are already preparing for the release and for example the widget contest will lead to a huge amount of widgets ready for download when the Tiger is released. This will also be true for other implementations, like the WebKits and Spotlight.
Now that I mention Spotlight.......... No, sorry we had no more time for a report, we have been working on our little Widget: Tigergotchi. You have to give a Tiger water, food and love to keep him alive. That simple, but it looks really cool we think.
