Once every year our lab is released in the wild for one day. Our labuitje, or lab outing in English, is organized by a different party of 3-4 persons, and what we will do comes as a big surprise. See what Wilbert, Josyanne, Tineke, and Maarten had planned for us this year, and how the people in our lab surely enjoyed this delicious day.
Cooking with Kees
After lunch the big plan for the afternoon and evening was revealed, we were supposed to cook! One complication, we had to get even the ingredients ourselves. Among the different 4-5 people groups we had to divide 4 starters, 4 main courses, 4 side dishes, and 4 deserts. Each group had to make two dishes. Also, it had to be all done at exactly 18.00h. Luckily we had the help of Kees, who is a chef cook in an Amsterdam restaurant. He had prepared the recipes already and with an eighty euro budget per group we headed into town to get everything needed for our two dishes....
Labday Cookbook
