Our booklets arrived and looked fantastic! In the Netherlands your thesis a A5-sized booklet containing the work produced in the 4-6 yrs of your PhD. Usually it contains your published articles plus an introduction and discussion/summary. We printed 300 copies of them which arrived today. Next we had to put in the invitations for dinner and party, the stellingen and the dankwoord (acknowledgements). Our paranimfen Wilbert and Lennert then took over to distribute the booklets among friends and colleagues at the NKI.
Stellingen
Also officially part of our theses are the "Stellingen", a number of statements that we had to add to our thesis on a separate paper, and which we have to defend as part of our graduation ceremony towards the opponents.
