Monday the 25th we sadly had to say goodbye to Ingrid Jordens, who after 7 years was about to leave our lab. We had some drinks and went for a nice dinner in restaurant Lieve in the centre of Amsterdam. We surely will miss Ingrid and wish her all the best with her new job and her adventures in the states!
Where does she go to?
Ingrid moves to Chicago, USA to the lab of Linda Hicke whos lab studies the role of mono-ubiquitination in receptor sorting and downregulation. Can you believe it? Ingrid will leave her beloved Mel JuSo cells and downgraded towards the more simple model organism Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, or budding yeast. Check out her new labmembers and the work they do...
